Powerful Baptisms—Help Us Prepare for the Next?

Dear Friends of Restoration Jail Ministry,

Last month, God allowed us to witness one of the most powerful services we’ve ever held inside the Maury County Jail—a baptismal service where 22 men publicly followed the Lord in believers’ baptism.

It was a day filled with joy, tears, and the unmistakable presence of God. Volunteers, supporters, and many members of the jail staff came to celebrate what God is doing behind these walls. Every one of those men stepped into the water with a testimony of grace and a desire to begin a new chapter with Christ.

We want you to know: your prayers and support made this possible. Every salvation, every changed life, every baptism—God is using you to help us reach the incarcerated with the gospel.

A Special Need for All Future Baptismal Services

As our ministry continues to grow, we are preparing for multiple baptismal services throughout the year. But we face one challenge we want to solve with your help.

Right now, the men and women being baptized must do so in their jail uniforms. Afterward, staff must search for clean, dry uniforms—a task that is often difficult due to the constant washing, rotating, and limited supply of uniforms.

To fix this, we want to purchase baptismal robes that can be used by both male and female inmates for all future services.

Here’s what we need:

  • 55 unisex baptismal robes
  • Approximate cost: $60 per robe (Larger sizes cost a little more)
  • Total need: $3,500

These robes will maintain dignity for those being baptized and significantly reduce the burden on jail staff. Even better, this is a one-time investment that will serve every baptismal service for years to come.

Would You Prayerfully Consider Helping Us Meet This Need?

If God leads you to give toward this project, your gift—no matter the amount—will make a meaningful difference.

Some may choose to purchase one robe at $60…

Others may choose to fund multiple robes…

However God leads you, please know that your generosity will directly support every future inmate who steps into the waters of baptism.

Thank You for Standing With Us

We are humbled and grateful for your continued partnership. God is changing lives inside the jail, and together, we are able to give these men and women the opportunity to publicly identify with Christ.

Thank you for praying.

Thank you for giving.

And thank you for believing in the mission of Restoration Jail Ministry—

“Lend a hand, lift a life.”

In Christ,

Chaplain David Curtis Baker
